Kane Realty confirmed in March 2026 that Jubala Coffee will open a second North Hills location, this time in the Main District, at the base of 4114 Center at North Hills Street, between Alo Yoga and Gorjana. The new café sits directly across Six Forks Road from Jubala's existing Park District shop, close enough that regulars could plausibly wave across traffic once both are open.
Until this announcement, the Main District had no brick-and-mortar coffee shop of its own. The 2,800-square-foot space includes outdoor seating and, notably, beer, wine, and cocktails alongside its wood-fired bagels and nightly pizza, a broader pour list than a typical bagel counter carries.
Benchwarmers is not a competitor to Jubala in any meaningful sense. It was founded by the same circle of people behind Jubala Coffee and Boulted Bread, and the Main District Jubala menu is set to include sandwiches made with Boulted Bread slices. Co-founder Sam Kirkpatrick called the North Hills expansion a chance to keep feeding the city that built the brand. The bagels go through a 36-hour fermentation process before landing in a 10,000-pound wood-fired oven, the kind of production detail that explains why the shop has drawn attention beyond the neighborhood.
The Innovation District location sits near Standard Beer + Food's second outpost and Dose Yoga + Smoothie Bar in Makers Alley, placing it inside a cluster of newer, smaller-format food and beverage spots that have been filling in around the office towers rather than the retail rows.
